On April 11th, the opening ceremony of the 19th Festival Croisements was held at the Shenzhen Sea World Culture & Arts Center. Bertrand Lortholary, French Ambassador to China, and more than 200 guests witnessed the festival's inauguration. The Festival Croisements will run from April through July, featuring 325 events under 62 programs in 31 Chinese cities. The Chinese actor-director-screenwriter Shen Teng serves as the promotional ambassador for this edition, and French actress Isabelle Huppert is invited as the guest artist.

To coincide with the Third United Nations Ocean Conference in Nice this June, the festival commences with a stage adaptation of Jules Verne's classic "Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea". The play was developed by Christian Heck, the winner of the Molière Award, with co‑creation by several Chinese directors, screenwriters, and actors in China. Combining immersive experiences with puppet shows, the production employs poetic expression to inspire public awareness of ocean conservation.
Established in 2006, the Festival Croisements has developed into the largest foreign arts festival in China and one of France's most influential cultural events abroad. This year's edition will bring together renowned French institutions including the Musée d'Orsay, Centre Pompidou, Musée des Beaux-Arts de Reims, and Le Consortium Dijon, to explore the history of Impressionism, Modernism, and contemporary art.

第19届"中法文化之春"艺术节在深圳开幕 沈腾担任宣传大使
4月11日，第19届“中法文化之春”艺术节开幕式在深圳海上世界文化艺术中心举行。活动现场，法国驻华大使白玉堂与200余名嘉宾共同见证开幕时刻。据悉，此次“中法文化之春”从4月持续至7月，62个项目的325场活动将在我国31座城市开展。中国演员、导演、编剧沈腾担任本届艺术节宣传大使，法国演员伊莎贝尔·于佩尔为本届艺术节特邀艺术家。
为了呼应今年6月将在法国尼斯召开的第三届联合国海洋大会，本届“中法文化之春”以改编自法国作家儒勒·凡尔纳的名作《海底两万里》作为开幕大戏。该剧由法国戏剧最高荣誉“莫里哀戏剧奖”获得者克里斯蒂安·埃克来华驻地创作，多位中方导演、编剧、演员参与共创。该作品集沉浸式体验和木偶剧于一体，用诗意的表达唤起人们对海洋的保护意识。
据介绍，自2006年创办以来，“中法文化之春”艺术节已成为中国境内规模最大的外国艺术节，同时也是法国在海外影响力最广的文化盛事之一。本届“中法文化之春”将汇聚奥赛博物馆、蓬皮杜中心、兰斯美术馆、第戎Le Consortium当代美术馆等法国知名文化机构，共同探讨印象派、现代主义及当代艺术的发展脉络。
